Product features

It is colorless, combustible and insoluble in water, benzene and other organic solvent, with freezing point of 0~50°C. It polymerizes into organosilicon polymer under the action of acid-base catalysis, and is used in producing silicone oil, silicone rubber, etc.

Technical indicators:

Usages: It is colorless, combustible and insoluble in water, benzene and other organic solvent, with freezing point of 0~50°C. It polymerizes into organosilicon polymer under the action of acid-base catalysis, and is used in producing silicone oil, silicone rubber, etc.

Precautions: it is explosive when the steam mixes with the air. Fine dispersed substance may easily form explosive mixture in the air, which may cause accumulation of static electricity and ignition; so possible fire hazard may be avoided by grounding, parallel connection or inert gas shielding.

Packaging and transportation:

1. This product should be packaged by 210 L plastic-lined iron drum or plastic drum (net weight: 190 Kg/drum) or 1,000 L steel-plastic square drum in a sealed manner or packaged according to the customer’s requirements and in the manner up to safety requirements.

2. During transportation, DMC should be protected from fire, rain, moisture and seepage of acid or base.

3. When operating with this product, forbid using the machine, equipment or tools easy to produce spark; when handling, please be gentle to avoid leakage due to damage of container.

4. DMC should be stored in a place with temperature of 20~40°C; heat preservation and antifreezing measures should be adopted when it is under 17°C. Under the conditions of standard packaging, transportation and storage, the shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of production. If it is beyond shelf life, it can be re-inspected according to the standard and still be used if the inspection results meet the standard requirements.
