Usages: It is used for monomer of organic silicon resin and synthesis of organosilicon compounds.
Precautions: It may fume in moist air and is soluble in benzene and ether; may cause combustion or explosion when contacting with naked flame, high temperature and strong oxidant. It decomposes and releases heat when heated or contacting with water, giving out toxic corrosive smoke.
Packaging and transportation:
1. This product should be packaged by dry and clean plastic-lined iron drum or plastic drum (200 kg/drum) in a sealed manner or packaged according to the customer’s requirements and as stipulated.
2. Ensure that the containers are free from leakage, collapse, falling and damage during transportation. Prohibit packaging or transporting it together with strong acid, strong base, strong oxidant, water or edible chemical products. It shall be protected from exposure to sunshine and raining during transportation. Keep away from fire, heat source and high temperature area during stopover. Handle with care to prevent damage to packaging and containers.
3. Dichlorodimethylsilane products should be stored in cool, dry and ventilated places and away from fire sources and other dangerous goods.
